Over the course of its thirty-plus releases so far, Vista Blue has been sliding between pop-punk and power pop - more often than not landing a little closer to the former. Tricks and Treats finds the Nashville-based outfit going all-in on pop-punk like never before. The band tears through 11 rocket-fueled tunes that meld buzzsaw guitars with a sugar rush of melodies and lyrics that can only be described as wonderfully fun.
